Billing questions
- What counts as one verification?
- One address checked, once — whether you upload it in a list or type it into the single check. Duplicates within one upload are counted once, and addresses that are not valid email addresses at all are never charged, because no mail server is contacted for them.
- Do unknown or catch-all results still cost a credit?
- Yes. The work is performed either way: the mail server is contacted and the checks run. We would rather charge for an honest unknown than be paid to invent a verdict.
- Do credits expire?
- No. There is no monthly allowance to lose and no subscription to forget about. Credits sit on your account until you spend them, so a quiet month costs you nothing.
- What if I buy too many?
- Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Credits already spent cannot, because the verification work was done and paid for on your behalf.
- Who handles payment?
- Payments are processed by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record and handle billing, invoicing, and applicable sales tax or VAT.
